Bangla recipe with Shutki or Dried Fish curry is a very spicy and traditional dish of Bangladesh. Many people do not like shutki because of its strong aroma, but those who love shutki, consider this as their favorite dish. Usually people who love shutki very much, they have different recipe for shutki.
But my today’s recipe is slightly different. Can you guess? Hmm… I know you might think it’s going to be cooked with veggies or a curry as we always try shutki in this way. But, this recipe is quite uncommon. Everyone who have tasted this dish said it is new, very delicious and healthy as well.
This recipe is very easy to make, and the cooking process is also very easy. Interestingly, those who lives in the villages, they do not have to buy the main ingredient of the recipe. Because almost all the villages, it grows in abundance without any cultivation in the fields or the empty spaces.
Guess what it is! Ok, I’m not going to bore you. It is Wild Spinach. Shutki can be cooked with herbs but this wild spinach is very good to go with shutki which make this dish more delicious. Instead of this wild spinach, you can use any kind of pot-herb. (The photo of Wild Spinach is being attached for you).
This nutritious recipe contains plenty of protein. And this green wild spinach contains chlorophyll and cellulose which is the source of Vitamin A. It also helps in digestion and cure constipation. In addition, this recipe is very yummy.
You are getting proper nutrition from this recipe. So think, you should try this or not? And yes don’t forget to comment below when you try this recipe.
Are you feeling confused about the combination of wild spinach with dried fish (Shutki)? Believe me there is nothing to worry about. Just try this tasty and healthy recipe and enjoy with steamed rice. If you have appetite problems or could not decide what to eat, then try this one. I promise you will feel better.
Try to avoid thorny dried fish to cook this recipe. That is why I have used Dried Bombay Duck Fish or Loitta Shutki. Let’s see the ingredients and the cooking process of the recipe.
NB: Instead of garlic and onion paste, you can use sliced onion and garlic. In this case you have to fry them until they become brown. Then mix tomato, chicken masala powder, warm water and cook for a few minutes. Lastly my opinion is that, you only get the real taste of this recipe by adding the ingredients according to your own choice.
